A Pure Sacrifice

Living and working for God is a worthy sacrifice. However, we must not seek human praises and recognition in order to work for God. There are times when we may face immense opposition while doing the will of God. We may lose friends and family as a result of choosing to live for God, but if we do not give up, we shall be rewarded in due time.

Joseph wanted to break up with Mary because she was with child. When God advised him otherwise, Joseph chose to endure shame and ridicule rather than disobey God. Daniel chose to pray than obey man and be prayerless. Also, Joseph, the son of Jacob made a difficult choice that led to his imprisonment. He could have chosen to simply fornicate with Potiphar's wife, but chose not to.

Do you live for God or for the praises of men? Whatever service you render will be duly rewarded, so offer yourself as a pure sacrifice to God, and for His Kingdom.
