God loves us as individuals, and knows each one of us by name. He knows the hairs on our head, and captures our tears in a bottle.

God's love for us extends into a global vision to save mankind - For God so loved the world (you and I), that He sent His only begotten Son, that whoever believed in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
God is on a mission to snatch His creation from eternal doom. Each one of us comes into the picture, we are a minute part of a beautiful picture, a gem in a masterpiece. We are valued beyond words. However, this is not all about us as individuals. It is a family issue. It is a Kingdom affair, and about a Heavenly war.
God's family - the believers are the very essence of Jesus's birth and death. We matter enormously to God as a family unit. Therefore, God essentially looks at the long haul benefits for His family. This is why John Mark was important to Barnabas - Acts 15:36-41.
To Paul, John Mark needed to be out, but God wanted him in. John Mark proved himself and got Paul to admit he probably was wrong in misjudging him earlier on and writing him off. 2 Timothy 4:11. Ministry is not about an individual. It is about a Kingdom and a family. No one must be sidetracked.
