Joseph realised his pain was for the salvation of his family. David killed Goliath to glorify a Heavenly Kingdom. Job suffered because God wanted to proof a point to His enemy, Satan. His suffering was to lift up and glorify God's name.
In spite of the great evil done by the people of Nineveh, God was not so much concerned about Jonah's grief and anger towards them. Jonah had a point, but it was not essentially about Jonah's feelings, it regarded a Kingdom business. It is about the souls of men that must be snatched from destruction.
God loves us, but we have to mature from seeing just us in the picture. There is a greater picture. It is not just about our needs and feelings. It is a warfare against evil and good. It is a battle for the souls of men. Our perception ought to change so we can change this world. When Jonah changed his mind. A nation was saved from destruction. It is our turn to transform the world. Are you ready?
