He wrote the story of man who willfully disobeyed Him and inherited sin and death. And yet He adds a twist to this sad story by introducing Jesus, the lamb who was slain from when the foundations of the Earth were laid.
How was this possible? God is omniscient - all knowing. Therefore He knows everything even before it happens. Nothing takes Him by surprise. God knew that man will fall through sin, and made provision for his redemption even before He created the world.
Jesus is the way of escape for sinful man, however some will not accept this way, and even worship the beast as shown below:
Revelations 13:8 And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.
God places His Will before us, we can choose to go His way, or spell our own. His has the happy ending, and ours leads to destruction, so we ought to choose wisely the author of our life story.
