The heavens declare the glory of God;
the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech;
night after night they reveal knowledge.
They have no speech, they use no words;
no sound is heard from them.
Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,
their words to the ends of the world.
2 Corinthians 4: 7 But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.
God shows forth His Glory through the abilities and talents He has endowed man with. He shows forth His glory through nature. He shows forth His Glory both in Heaven and on Earth. Heaven is the seat of His Glory, for He is seated there.
Psalm 73:24 You guide me with your counsel,
and afterward you will receive me to glory. Heaven beholds the perfection of God's Glory, whilst the Earth witnesses its reflection. In all , God's Glory can be seen on Earth as it is in Heaven. And as Christians, because God's Spirit resides in us, His glory is in us.
Being conscious of this will kill the pride that can so easily consume the heart of a man who is being greatly used by God. It is never our doing, and all glory and praise must be ascribed to God.
