Proverbs 16:7 When a man’s ways please the LORD, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.
Paul and Silas were working to enhance God's Kingdom, so even though they incurred the wrath of certain law makers and were thrown into prison, God caused even their enemies to make peace with them.
Acts 16:33-35 At that hour of the night the jailer took them and washed their wounds; then immediately he and all his household were baptized.
The jailer brought them into his house and set a meal before them; he was filled with joy because he had come to believe in God--he and his whole household.
When it was daylight, the magistrates sent their officers to the jailer with the order: "Release those men."
The jailer who was to ensure their imprisonment rather nursed their wounds. The magistrates who could keep them in prison ordered their release. Paul and Silas were steadfast in their faith even when in trouble. This pleased the Lord, who intervened and caused even their enemies (opposers) to be at peace with them.
Continue to walk with God. Continue to live in the Spirit. Even though you may be persecuted for doing so, the Lord will intervene when the time is due. Not all men will side with you, but know that the King's heart is like a water body in the Lord's hand, and He turns it as He pleases.
In God's own time , He will bring you deliverance and use your enemies to help create the way of escape for you. All things will work for your good in the end, even the bad! Stay put, and keep trusting in God. He never fails!
