Don't relent - you can do it again!

1 Chronicles 20:6-8 NLT

In another battle with the Philistines at Gath, they encountered a huge man with six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot, twenty-four in all, who was also a descendant of the giants. But when he defied and taunted Israel, he was killed by Jonathan, the son of David’s brother Shimea. These Philistines were descendants of the giants of Gath, but David and his warriors killed them.

Have you ever looked back, and mused over yesterday's victories and successes, and wondered if you could ever chalk up such same feats again?

Maybe you seem to be retrogressing, or maybe you are tired. Maybe you are whimpering in fear, or feel overwhelmed with the enormity of your circumstances.

In 1 Samuel 17, David killed Goliath, a giant Philistine who troubled the army of Israel. This was a great achievement on David's part, which earned him honour and kingly treats.

Years down the line, after being involved in several other battles, David may have been tired, in need of rest. And yet he had to fight more giants. He rose to the challenge,  and repeated what God had enabled him do to Goliath.

The Bible described it as such - These Philistines were descendants of the giants of Gath, but David and his warriors killed them.

So encourage yourself and reposition yourself, for you can do it. You can be successful! You can win again!
