Change of Season - Part 2
In life there are seasons, that we must adjust to. There is a season of sowing. This is when we may go off in tears, and labour without seeing the fruit of our labour. It is a season where we may feel weary and may even feel like quitting. It is a season of battles against pests and all that seek to destroy our hardwork. It is a season where we may keep vigil over our work and rest less.
Then the season of harvest comes in. We may work in this season, but at least we can rejoice because of the harvest we behold. It is a season where we get connected to those who will benefit from our harvest, and where we enjoy the produce of our hardwork.
There is also a season of rest. And rest means rest! This time comes with no struggles or labour. Battles cease and we can simply bask in God's goodness all around us. In all of these seasons there are three things that we ought to do:
Understand them
Prepare for them.
Adjust to them
1 Chronicles 12:32 From the tribe of Issachar, there were 200 leaders of the tribe with their relatives. All these men understood the signs of the times and knew the best course for Israel to take.
