As the king of Israel was passing by on the wall, a woman cried to him, “Help me, my lord the king!”
The king replied, “If the Lord does not help you, where can I get help for you? From the threshing floor? From the winepress?” Then he asked her, “What’s the matter?”
She answered, “This woman said to me, ‘Give up your son so we may eat him today, and tomorrow we’ll eat my son.’ So we cooked my son and ate him. The next day I said to her, ‘Give up your son so we may eat him,’ but she had hidden him.”
2 Kings 6: 26-29
How worse can a situation get? The people of Samaria were so famished that some had resorted to cannibalism. God however was able to change their story.
What is your story? Do you feel as if it is impossible to get a happy ending? Does your situation seem impossible? Do you feel there is no way out?
Hold on! God of all possibilities can change your story. He is not only able to change your story, but he is also willing to change your story.
Elisha declared upon Samaria - “Hear the word of the Lord. This is what the Lord says: About this time tomorrow, a seah of the finest flour will sell for a shekeland two seahs of barley for a shekel at the gate of Samaria.” 2 Kings 7:1
2 Kings 7:16 Then the people went out and plundered the camp of the Arameans. So a seah of the finest flour sold for a shekel, and two seahs of barley sold for a shekel, as the Lord had said.
Likewise, your story is changing for the better. The impossible is becoming possible. God shall make a way where there seems to be no way. Simply believe and trust in His Word. Do not try to figure out how He shall do it. Just be still and know that He is God.
