Proverbs 28:1

The wicked run away when no one is chasing them, but the godly are as bold as lions.
English Standard Version
The wicked flee when no one pursues, but the righteous are bold as a lion.
In Christ Jesus, we become righteous through faith - faith in the death and resurrection of Jesus to save us from our sins.
Romans 3:22 This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile.
It takes boldness to have faith. It took Abraham boldness to believe God, and it was accorded to him as righteousness.
