Proverbs 18:10 The name of the LORD is a strong tower; the righteous man runs into it and is safe.
As we walk with God, it is His desire that we experience the safety that comes with associating with Him.
Noah was a righteous man, so when the Lord decided to destroy the Earth, Noah found safety in God. Noah loved a Supreme being called God, and kept His precepts. This Great Being and name brought him through the floods.
Lot was saved from the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah because his uncle pleaded with God. Wherever a righteous man is located, the name and person of God saves them.
God saved the Israelites from some of the plagues that engulfed Egypt because they knew God. God is a constant friend that is ever present on our day of trouble.
When we go through trials , the Lord is still close and keeps us safe. Even in death, the righteous is safe - Because you will not abandon me to the realm of the dead, nor will you let your faithful one see decay. Psalm 16:10
May you everyday experience the safety and friendship that God gives.
