Praise is a weapon. It is a spiritual weapon for the Christian, to use against the Kingdom of darkness. A weapon that gives us strength to silence the foe and the avenger.
Praising God takes after the heart of a child. It takes a childlike faith to humbly come before God and disassociate from taking glory for one's achievements, but rather magnify them as God's.
During the ministry of Jesus, He quoted Psalm 8:2, but with slight changes as shown below in Matthew 21:16:
And said unto him, Hearest thou what these say?
And Jesus saith unto them, Yea; have ye never read, Out of the mouth of babes and sucklings thou hast perfected praise.
Jesus interchanged strength with perfected praise. Hence, perfected praise is strength. Perfected praise is praise that is accepted by God. Such praises are weapons that empower us to defeat and still the enemy.
Is the enemy trying to invade, or has invaded your life? Sing praises to God. Do you love the Lord? Are you thankful for His Goodness unto you? Sing Praises to Him!
Nehemiah 9:10 Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy choice food and sweet drinks, and send some to those who have nothing prepared. This day is holy to our Lord. Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
