God hears; God sees!

Psalm 126:1 A Song of Ascents. When the LORD brought back the captive ones of Zion, We were like those who dream.

The Lord has a way of abruptly ending the struggles of his children. There are times that we may feel He is deaf to our cry. The Israelites felt that way when they were in captivity. They had been crying out to the Lord, but had found no relief whatsoever.

Then after many centuries, yes centuries,  God spoke to Moses The Lord said, “I have indeed seen the misery of my people in Egypt. I have heard them crying out because of their slave drivers, and I am concerned about their suffering.

So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and spacious land,a land flowing with milk and honey—the home of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites. Exodus 3: 7-8

Through Moses, God saved the Israelites from captivity. They were like dreamers when God opened up the Red Sea for them to walk through, and later hurled the Egyptians under the sea.

Glory to our God who sees our struggles and hears our cry!
