'Seeing is believing' is a common worldly saying, but in the realm of faith, the opposite is true.
Jesus said to Thomas - "Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed." John 20:29
Hebrews 11:1 defines faith as - Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
Faith is believing before seeing. It is clinging unto what God says even if it defies human reasoning. It is activating the invincible and invisible.
Faith as Jesus cautioned Thomas about simply meant believing in God's Word even without its physical manifestation.
Hebrews 11:6 teaches us that: And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
