Victim turned accused!

Psalm 119:9 How can a young person stay on the path of purity? By living according to your word.

Joseph lived according to the Word of God and tried to stay on the path of purity. Then came his tempter, Potiphar's wife.

Joseph refused to sin before God and his master, Potiphar. He therefore declined the offer of sin handed over to him on a silver platter. This did not go down well with his temptress. She resorted to lies to swap their characters.

There are people who are manipulative in nature. They love to have their own way, and when they do not get to, will resort to all sorts of things, such as falsely accusing innocent ones, crying crocodile tears, walking in pretense to buy the sympathy of others, and doing all they can to punish whoever did not allow them to have their way.

The most common is making the innocent one look guilty so they can swap positions, and hence enable them to save their face. Such manipulative characters have witchcraft tendencies, some unknowingly.  Witchcraft and manipulation are two sides of the same coin.

Are you manipulative and crafty in your dealings with people? If you are, you may appear to succeed momentarily, but because we reap what we sow, you shall equally be treated with deception and/or manipulation. Jacob is a good example. Just as he deceived his father to be blessed, he was deceived to marry the wrong woman.

Let go manipulation! Do not turn innocent victims into the accused. Remember, God hears the cry of the innocent and saves them.
