Luke 15:11-32
There is a time in life when we have to reflect on our lives, and on our relationship with our Heavenly father.
The prodigal son walked away from home, and from his father. He took his inheritance and went away to enjoy a thrilling life.
Well he did enjoy life, and came out wasted and empty. Likewise, as Christians, there are times that we walk away from our father and embrace things that thrill our physical senses, but causes us to feel empty and wasted in the end.
Just like the Prodigal son, we must pause in life and ponder on what we are entitled to in life, through our Heavenly father. Why should we wallow in sorrow and self pity when we could have joy and peace in God our father's house?
Why should we accept lack when God has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in Heavenly places? Let us return to God, His angels will throw a party on our behalf - Luke 15:10.
And oh how glad our hearts would be!
