God is pleased when we depend on Him for all that concerns us in our past, present and future.
When our past experiences weigh us down with feelings of pain, regret and guilt, Jesus beckons to us to tarry close to Him with our heavy load/burden, and He shall grant us rest. Rest from yesterday, and rest today.
Jesus warns us not to fret, but to come to Him in prayer. We are told to call upon God, and He shall hear us.
For He keeps in perfect peace, he whose mind is stayed on Him, for He trusts in Him. About the future, do not be like the rich fool Luke 12:13-21. Do not plan your future with no place for God, lest He gives you a rude surprise!
Depend on God at all times!
