Isaiah 60:10,16 Foreigners shall build up your walls,
and their kings shall minister to you;
for in my wrath I struck you,
but in my favor I have had mercy on you.
Powerful kings and mighty nations will satisfy your every need, as though you were a child nursing at the breast of a queen. You will know at last that I, the LORD, am your Savior and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Israel.
When God restores, we receive restitution. We obtain what we have lost and even more. Joseph went through the mill. When the fullness of time came, a foreign King called for him. Joseph knew how to meet the King.
He shaved and changed his clothes. There is a way to walk into God's restoration. We cannot enter into it with our prison clothes and unshaven appearance. That is to say that we must rid ourselves of any smell of captivity. Any behaviour or attitude that imprisons us and causes us to appear unkempt, and unlike Christ must go.
Higher places are slippery. As we enter into restoration and promotion, our hearts must be right. Our character proven, tested and true. If not, no sooner are we restored that we would slip and fall.
The King shall soon call for you. Are you prepared?
