God first!

Acts 5:29 Peter and the other apostles replied: “We must obey God rather than human beings!

Threats of human beings can place us at uncomfortable places where we are torn between pleasing man and pleasing God.

Sometimes obeying God can be costly. Daniel obeyed God and was thrown into a lion's den. Shadrach,  Meshach and Abednego chose God over man and ended up in a hot furnace.

In Hebrews 11, we read that some were sawn into two due to their faith in God. We ought to develop our trust and faith in God to an extent where nothing else matters, but God.

Our answer to the following scripture should be : 'none of the above.'
Romans 8: 35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall trouble or hardship or persecution or famine or nakedness or danger or sword?

We must be able to say alongside Paul in Romans 8:38-39  For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
