It is darkest just before dawn. Just before sunrise, we face the darkest time.
Jesus died on a Friday. On Saturday, his loved ones, I suppose really felt his absence. "Jesus is truly no more," they might have muttered.
When all hope was lost, three women decided to go and preserve his dead body as he had been dead for three days.
Unknown to man, God had been up to something all along. His silence was not a sign of inactivity. God sometimes does His best in silence.
He had caused Jesus to descend to Hades to claim the keys of death and Hades. Jesus had gone to Satan's Kingdom to reclaim man's stolen inheritance. And afterwards had been raised from the dead by God's Spirit.
If you are waiting on the Lord for a new beginning and for a change in your circumstance, do not grow weary. God is working on your behalf. This dark night will soon pass and usher in daylight. Do not fret! God is in control.
Just like Jesus, you will awaken from this dead condition with newness and with fresh glory. For God is faithful.
