Satan is the accuser of the brethren. He comes against the children of God in diverse ways.
Revelations 12:9-11 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.
10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.
11 And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death.
Joseph was accused falsely of attempting to rape Potiphar's wife. Then came the subtle accusations of Saul against David. Saul in his heart, hated David for stealing his thunder. He accused him wrongly for David did not have any such intention. It was simply the Lord lifting him up.
There are some people that the devil will place around you to accuse you falsely, even of things that glorify God. They will label you evil for standing up for truth. Do not forget that this happened to Jesus. The truth He spoke led to His Crucifixion.
Prayer pleases God, and yet Daniel's prayer gave rise to accusations. Joseph acted rightly towards Potiphar's wife, and yet he was placed in prison for that.
When the enemy floods his accusations, you suffer wrong for doing right. Do not be tempted to swap position, to be hardened up so you begin to endorse and live wrongly, for fear of being accused and persecuted. SHUT OUT THE ACCUSER'S VOICE AND STAND UP FOR THE TRUTH.
