Abraham desired to have children but his wife was barren.
God intervened and they had Isaac. It was a great miracle considering their very old age.
I believe Abraham adored his son, Isaac. He was his dream come true; proof of God's love and faithfulness.
Sarah equally must have doted on Isaac. His birth had brought such joy and laughter to her.
God can give us all blessings that pertains to life and godliness. Is anything too hard for Him?
But do we love God simply because of what we can get from Him? Or do we love Him whether He blesses us or not.
Abraham proved he loved God with or without the blessing. He demonstrated this by willingly obeying God to sacrifice Isaac. That was giving God back His blessing and saying - " I will worship you with or without being blessed."
How many children of God have this heart in this age and time? Please reflect on this.
