Dead to self

When we die to self, all we see is God and what pleases Him. We become insignificant so He can become significant in our lives. We decrease so God can increase.

The three hebrew boys - Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego were dead to self. Therefore,  they were able to choose God over their own lives. God to them was priority - the most important.

Daniel and his friends chose God over a luxurious lifestyle. They would not eat food sacrificed to Idols. Do we choose worldliness over Godliness?  We must reflect on this!
