God's presence is like fire that surrounds us to protect us from intruders. He is our secure and most reliable security system.
The devil roams around like a roaring lion looking for whom to devour.
1 Peter 5:8 Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
As Christians, we have God in us and around us. He protects us from evil, and protects that which He has blessed us with. The prowling lion, Satan, cannot harm us nor steal from us.
When we serve God and draw close to Him, His fire consumes the presence and works of Satan and his agents. God's presence also preserves our glory.
As a Child of God, you have a rich glory as your inheritance. God's presence protects this inheritance. It is yours to claim and enjoy!
It is my prayer that we may perceive and possess this inheritance - the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints. Ephesians 1:18
