From my opinion, freshly baked bread is a delight to savour. Stale bread is the contrary.
Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; he who comes to Me will not hunger, and he who believes in Me will never thirst. John 6:35
We have an eternal supply of bread for life if we have Jesus in us. Jesus is the bread of life, and the Word of God.
John 1:14 declared about Jesus saying: And the Word became flesh, and dwelt among us, and we saw His glory, glory as of the only begotten from the Father, full of grace and truth.
God desires to give us a fresh Word each day. Jesus delights to fill us daily with Himself. He is the bread of life, and the Word of God.
Isaiah testified of his daily supply of a new Word from God in Isaiah 50:4 - The Lord God hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakeneth morning by morning, he wakeneth mine ear to hear as the learned.
Daily going to God for manna; for bread, is a sign of our trust and dependence on Him . Exodus 16:4 Then the Lord said to Moses, “Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a day’s portion every day, that I may test them, whether or not they will walk in My instruction.
God has a fresh Word for you today, I pray that you shall hearken to it. May the Holy Spirit speak that Word to us as we study God's Word, as we go about our daily fare, and as we consciously listen out for God's guidance, Amen.
