Genesis 1:28
God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky and over every living creature that moves on the ground.”
Though we live in the world, as children of God, we do not belong to the world. We are seated in Heavenly places with Christ Jesus, and must reign from that altitude.
We ought to see from a higher perspective than that of the world, in order to reign. This higher perspective is having and walking by faith through God's Word.
Jesus demonstrated this authority to us by working miracles on Earth as a man. He blessed five loaves of bread and two fish and fed over five thousand people with it. He walked on water. Moses operated from this altitude when he walked with God and by faith obeyed His voice.
The apostles worked great miracles of healing and raising people from the dead because they operated from this high altitude.
This high altitude is available to every man on Earth through the blood Jesus shed. Once we accept Jesus, we are moved to this level where we reign with Jesus by faith.
Just as being in a garage does not make you a car, being in the Heavenly places with Christ Jesus does not automatically mean you operate in this higher dimension.
You must understand your new identity and learn the new language spoken at this realm. You have to learn the rights of being a citizen in this Kingdom, and must abide by the laws of Heaven.
The language spoken in this new Kingdom is faith, and there are levels of fluency depending on revelation and power. To increase your faith, you must increase your understanding of God's word. To make strides in speaking the language of faith, your power base must be strong through prayer.
We are called to reign on Earth. To be in control, not controlled by circumstances not in line with God's Word. We can choose to reign rightfully or not. The choice is ours!
