Rest is on its way!

Seven is symbolic of completion and rest. For six days, the Israelites walked around the walls of Jericho without any positive results. Then on the seventh day, they went again around the walls for six times without any results.


The seventh walk on the seventh day amidst a shout brought down the walls of Jericho. Weeping may last for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. There is a time for rest.


God created the world in six days, and rested on the seventh. He therefore understands the concept of rest.  He grants rest to the weary. Jesus gives rest to anyone who desires to be relieved of weariness.


Matthew 11:28-30 "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.  For my yoke is easy and my burden is light."


If you are in Christ Jesus and going through trials, the Lord shall bring you rest. Trust in Him!
