The fruitful servant.
John 15:1-2;4-6 “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.
Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.“I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.
If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.
It is only in Jesus that we can bear good fruits. We must be in fellowship and communion with Jesus to be able to be fruitful children of God. Being fruitful starts with making Jesus your Lord and personal Saviour and ends with keeping Him daily as your Lord and Saviour.
Jesus must have the upper hand. You must submit to His Lordship and do His will. Then can you be fruitful. If you choose to be your own person, following your own ideas and succumbing to your own personal whims, you will wither and die. To be without Christ is death.
Life starts and ends with Jesus. There is no fruitfulness without Jesus. Though on earth, you may enjoy certain pleasures without Jesus, the end will be death and dryness.
Stay connected to life and fruitfulness. Stay connected to Jesus!
