From the very first day that a sinner repents and is saved, he or she receives great support and backing from Heaven.

God has not left any of His Children on their own. He cares for us and is within us as His Holy Spirit. He has also given to us angels to minister to us - Hebrews 1:14 Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?
Elijah experienced this in a profound manner and was assured that he had more invisibly on his side than on the side of his physical enemies. 2 Kings 6:17 And Elisha prayed, "Open his eyes, LORD, so that he may see." Then the LORD opened the servant's eyes, and he looked and saw the hills full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.
When everyone was afraid of dying through a ship wreck, Paul was confident no one would die, because he was assured of support, protection and backing from above. Acts 27:23-24 Last night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve stood beside me and said, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul. You must stand trial before Caesar; and God has graciously given you the lives of all who sail with you.
