John 16:13 But when he, the Spirit of truth, comes, he will guide you into all the truth. He will not speak on his own; he will speak only what he hears, and he will tell you what is yet to come.
John 14:26 But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.
1 John 2:20-21 But you have an anointing from the Holy One,and all of you know the truth. I do not write to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it and because no lie comes from the truth.
The Holy Spirit in us is truth. He is God. When we have Him, we have the truth of God. He is essential if we are going to walk in truth. For He is the only one that can teach us truth. After we have embraced Jesus, who is the way, the truth and life, we have to walk with the one whom Jesus has delegated to replace His being on Earth - His Holy Spirit.
Pray for an infilling of God's Spirit. Pray that you will walk faithfully with God's Holy Spirit and be able to follow his guidance and teachings. He will safeguard you from wandering away from the truth of God, and keep you in the Kingdom of God.
