Men that go the extra mile

In life, we come across different people. Some people virtually brush against our lives, but leave a lasting mark in our lives. The blind man whom Jesus healed had his life changed by a single encounter with Jesus. The ministry of Moses changed by a single piece of advice by  his father in law. Different people make varied impressions on our lives.

In Mark 2:1-12, a man had a unique encounter. He was paralysed and needed to see Jesus. He had four good men agree to carry him to where Jesus was. There was a considerable hindrance - there was no room where Jesus was. The friends of this paralysed man could have given up at this point, but they did not. They went an extra mile for their friend.

They made way through the roof and carried him up there, lowering him down to where Jesus was. Sometimes in life we need men in our lives that would go an extra mile for us. We need people who are willing to carry us when we can no longer stand. We need men who will see the obstacles in our way and think of an answer out of our troubles.  We need men that won't depend on their own wisdom , but would carry us into the very presence of Jesus where all the answers to our troubles are.

May God surround you with men that will usher you into the place of your miracle.
