Hebrews 6:19-20 This hope is a strong and trustworthy anchor for our souls. It leads us through the curtain into God’s inner sanctuary. Jesus has already gone in there for us. He has become our eternal High Priest in the order of Melchizedek.
When Jesus died on a cross, the curtain to the Holy of Holies was torn into two. This was symbolic of Christ's death paving way for us to be reconciled with God. Jesus acted as the final High Priest to sacrifice on behalf of our sins. He sacrificed his own life for us to find peace with God.
Now, we can be certain to come boldly to God's throne and find help when we are in need - Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Hebrews 4:16
Also, we need not despair, no matter what life throws at us, we are sure of an expected good end through Christ Jesus. Our inheritance is secure, for we are seated in Heavenly places with Christ Jesus -Ephesians 2:6. We are therefore anchored to God through Jesus. We are co- heirs with Jesus. Our father owns Heaven and Earth.... therefore nothing should bother us on Earth.
