God is sovereign and supreme. We cannot predict His ways. They are far fetching and unpredictable.
It is a losing battle to fight with the Lord for you cannot win. It was useless for Pharaoh to set his heart against God. He ended up getting swallowed by the sea. Saul set his heart against God and died shamefully. Absalom realised a bit too late that he could not fight God. All these men fought directly with God's children, indirectly fighting with God.
God fights for His own. We must be careful with our ways because like Ananias and Saphira, we may think we are dealing with humans, but may actually be dealing with God. Acts 5. God says whatever you do to the least of people, you do unto Him.
Never attempt to fight God. It will be in futility!
