When we come to God, we must be clear in our mind of who we believe He is, on what we know He can do, and finally on the specifics of our request - it must have clarity.
Jesus demonstrated this in the Lord's prayer - He identified God as His father in Heaven, great to be worshipped- Our father who art in Heaven, hallowed be thy name. Then Jesus went on to ask specific requests that also revealed what He believed God could accomplish.
In the same vein, we must come to God having faith in Him and in His ability and power. Hebrews 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
In Matthew 9:27-35, some blind men called out to Jesus for help. He asked them - “Do you believe that I am able to do this?" When they answered in the affirmative, He healed them.
Also Jesus once asked a blind man - What do you want me to do for you?" The blind man said, "Rabbi, I want to see." God wants us to be clear on what we want from Him. Abraham's servant in search of a wife for Isaac, came to God with a precise request and got it granted.
Today, come boldly to God in faith, carrying specific requests.God rewards faith!
