When your help is God

Psalm 121
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.

My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.

He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.

Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.

The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand.

The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.

The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.

The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.



God is supreme, He is above all. He created all of the universe including the angelic host. He created Satan and all the fallen angels, now known as demons. God made all human beings.

If such a great God is on your side, who can be against you, or who shall you be afraid of? You do not have to be afraid of evil, or bad news, for the Lord is mighty to save you.

Desist from walking around heavy burdened with worry and anxiety, lift your eyes to the Great God who made Heaven and Earth. He will step into your situation, if only you'll let Him.

Philippians 4:6-7 Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.
And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.


The remedy for stress and anxiety is to turn to God in obedience, trust , prayer, amidst thanksgiving. God will then give you peace that surpasses all understanding.
