Faith vs Fear - Part 2

God has through the death and resurrection of Jesus, restored to man all that he lost to the devil.

Key Scripture : Hebrews 11

Having Faith is having the mindset of God and using His power in you. Faith is exercising the God factor in man. Even when man in his fallen state, creates a picture mentally or in drawing , of something he would like to create - he is moving in the arena of faith. Faith calls those things which are not as though they are, and they become. Architectural drawings for instance are works of faith - they picture and imagine, create, and then they become a reality. Faith creates and conquers unproductivity. One meaning of subdue is to bring under cultivation. Faith tills idle lands and places, into productivity. That is why where the concept of faith is dead, men live in deprivation.

Fear counteracts faith. Fear fights the God-ability in man and renders man subdued. Remember, man was intended to subdue, and not to be subdued. Fear creates false evidence, and undermines man's ability. Fear causes man to stay under the influence of the serpent (Satan), and urges man to think he is yet to become like God. Fear deceptively leads man in contrary ways intended for him to become great like God. Swiftly following all sorts of sins. When in actual fact, man is already in the image of God. We are created in the image of God, and have been redeemed from the power of sin by the blood of Jesus. Through Jesus, we are restored to what God intended us to be.

The Generals of faith in Hebrews 11 simply resorted to the DNA of God in them, and chose to subdue. They made a choice to be like God and see impossibilities as possibilities. Remember, nothing is impossible with God. But do note, that faith does not rebel against God. The Generals of Faith trusted in God and actually depended on Him. Whereas fear distrusts God, and relies upon oneself, and is quick to disobey God. Adam and Eve distrusted God when they ate the fruit. They disobeyed God in the process. This is the influence of the serpent (Satan) on man.

When we tap into the power of God, we tap into faith and walk in the nature of God. Fear eliminates God and His power, and causes us to rely on ourselves, like Satan and the fallen angels did whilst in Heaven. We must render our full trust in God and obey Him. By so doing we will subdue the power of fear which is the spirit of the serpent (Satan), thereby activate faith which ignites God's power and causes us to reflect His nature.
