Indeed, one touch from Jesus can change your situation, your circumstances, and your very life. Simon Peter had been fishing the whole night but had caught no fish, however at the master's instruction, he caught so much fish that his net broke, and he needed help to handle the great catch - Luke 5 :1- 10.
Jesus turned Peter's situation around with a word. With Jesus on the boat, we can sail through every storm. When the disciples found themselves at the mercy of a storm in deep seas, a word from Jesus - "peace, be still!'' calmed the raging storm. Once again, Jesus showed up on time to write a happy ending. Mark 4 :35 - 41
The woman with the issue of blood got her healing because she met Jesus, and trusted Him for her healing - Matthew 9: 20 -22
Jesus is ready and willing to meet us at the point of our need. When Jesus met the invalid at the pool of Bethesda, He asked him if he wanted to get well, as Jesus had discerned this man had been in this situation for a long time ( thirty-eight years). This man did not seem to realise that he had met the King of Kings, whose single touch changes everything. He had a long list of reasons why he could not be healed, instead of tapping into the miraculous touch of Jesus. Jesus was kind with him, and uttered an instruction which brought him healing. John 5 :1 -9
