The Holy Spirit is the revealer of God's mysteries - 1 Corinthians 2: 7 -16 talks about the wisdom of God's mystery being found in Jesus, and goes on to talk about how this mystery is hidden and only revealed by the Holy Spirit to those that love God.
Verses 7-8 But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, the hidden wisdom which God ordained before the ages for our glory, which none of the rulers of this age knew; for had they known, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.
Verses 10- 12 But God has revealed them to us through His Spirit. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? Even so no one knows the things of God except the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God.
Any other mystery not founded on Jesus Christ is false -
"Let no one deceive you by any means; for that Day will not come unless the falling away comes first, and the man of sin is revealed, the son of perdition, who opposes and exalts himself above all that is called God or that is worshiped, so that he sits as God in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God....
"And now you know what is restraining, that he may be revealed in his own time.
For the mystery of lawlessnessis already at work; only He who now restrains will do so until He is taken out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming. "The coming of the lawless one is according to the working of Satan, with all power, signs, and lying wonders, and with all unrighteous deception among those who perish, because they did not receive the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this reason God will send them strong delusion, that they should believe the lie, that they all may be condemned who did not believe the truth but shad pleasure in unrighteousness." 2 Thessalonians 2:1-4, 6-12
In this age and time, many people who claim to be followers of Jesus Christ have abandoned the basic teachings of their Lord and Saviour, and are priding themselves in the exhibition of power, might and knowledge . Let us not forget that the mystery of lawlessness, which has an evil source also demonstrates power, signs and lying wonders. Remember, And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing. 1 Corinthians 13 : 2-3
