God orders the steps of the righteous. Our Heavenly Father has a plan for our lives. He does not tell us all about it. God knows the end from the beginning, but most times, He tells us the beginning and the end, and takes us through an adventurous journey of faith and obedience, ordering our steps as we allow Him to. He does love us so much that there are even times that we are oblivious to His leadings, at the very low moments of our lives, when we may feel all alone as though God has abandoned us, He carries and leads us all the same.
'The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way' (Psalm 37:23).
God is interested in the nitty gritty of your life. He was interested in Abraham's heart desire to have his son, Isaac, marry from his family, so led Abraham's servant who was in search of a bride for Isaac to the very suitable relative of Isaac - Genesis 24. God leads us, even when He's not happy with us. When He was not pleased with the decision of His children to ask for a King, out of His love for Israel, He ordered the steps of Saul to Samuel the Prophet, to be anointed as King of Israel - 1 Samuel 9.
The Bible teaches us that 'A man's heart plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps - (Proverbs 16:9).
As children of God, we must be interested in , and conscious of the guidance of God. This Scripture must guide us all the time - Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your paths (Pro 3:5).
We must give God His due position as our guide (let Him be our Lord and Saviour ). We must ask Him to guide us ( pray ), and we must read about His guidance (study the Word of God ),and follow His guidance( Obey His voice and the leadings of His Holy Spirit).
