Isaiah 43 :2
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze.
Have you ever felt as though you were drowning with worry, or that troubles have beset you? I have good news for you. Drop your troubles and worries at the feet of Jesus, because He's offering you a ride to a higher altitude. You don't need to carry your load, chuck it in the boot of faith.
When the Israelites left Egypt, they faced a dreadful situation. Before them was the Red Sea, and behind them was Pharaoh and his army. They were caught between the devil and the deep blue sea.
To the Israelites, all hope was gone, but to God, the best was yet to come. This is what I mean by climbing to God's altitude. God sees what we cannot physically see. Without deciding to see what may not necessarily be physically visible, you cannot please God. Without faith it is impossible to please God. The mighty God made a way in the sea. He was with the Israelites as they crossed over, through the sea on dry land. However when the Egyptian army tried to do same, God was not with them, the sea swallowed them and they perished. Exodus 14
When God is with you, do not fear anything that may come against you. In like manner, the three Hebrew guys survived the fire from the burning furnace. However, those that prepared the fire, perished when they got near it to throw the Hebrew boys in. God was not with those that had to throw the Hebrew boys into the furnace, but God was with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego - Daniel 3 . God showed up physically that even the King remarked - Daniel 3 : 24 -25
Then King Nebuchadnezzar leaped to his feet in amazement and asked his advisers, “Weren’t there three men that we tied up and threw into the fire?”
They replied, “Certainly, Your Majesty.”
He said, “Look! I see four men walking around in the fire, unbound and unharmed, and the fourth looks like a son of the gods.”
When God is your God, and on your side, sorrow won't drown you, waters that kill will become a way for you. What was a predicament shall become a solution. The fire that kills shall render to you lovely Heavenly miraculous encounters. What your enemies have set as a death trap shall be your elevator to promotion. After God showed up in the furnace, all saw that indeed He was with the Hebrew boys. The splendour of God's presence reflected in the lives of Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego as they were promoted by the King - Daniel 3 : 30 Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in the province of Babylon.
Every obstacle shall become a way. Every hindrance an answer. The fire you are faced with shall be your source of promotion. Rejoice and know that if God be for you, no one can be against you.
