God has blessed us with all things that pertain to life and godliness. According to 2 Peter 1:3, His divine power has given us everything we need for life and godliness through our knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and goodness.
Each one of us has been fearfully and wonderfully made. Whether you were born with a silver spoon in your mouth, or born in a manger, you have the ability to excel or fail in life. That ability is innate. It is derived from having faith in one's self, and in one's ability. You have giftings and talents that can bring you before Kings.
Proverbs 18:16 says a man’s gift makes room for him, and brings him before great men. You are endowed with an ability, which if you discover will usher you into greatness. Do not despise who you are, nor what you have. Do not keep comparing yourself with others. Stop moaning, and uncover what is within you.
Study yourself , unearth what makes you tick. Take note of the things that you do effortlessly - those are your strengths! Build on them. Work with them, polish your gift, and it'll shine forth for others to admire, and that is how doors shall open to you.
Great men are great because they used what was in them to bless the world. The world celebrates those that take a bold step to polish their abilities. Like the parable of talents, we are not all the same, and we do not all have the same abilities. However, in the master's eyes, your ability is all you need for life and godliness. Do not bury your talent. Use it to God's glory, and for your own good.
Take the first step, and you will enjoy the delights that come when God is pleased with you.
