FAITH DEFEATS GIANTS

NUMBERS 13 & 14


Joshua and Caleb knew of God's promise to bring the people of Israel to a land flowing with milk and honey.

They had journeyed through the wilderness believing to partake in this promise. Now, much closer to the realisation of this promise, they were faced with difficulties and obstacles - GIANTS!

Sometimes we may feel ambushed by difficulties, hurdles, financial constraints, or even governmental laws that limit us in the pursuit of our dreams.

Martin Luther King took his eyes off the limitations of his day and time; off the racial segregation that reeked in America, and dreamed of a day when race will not determine how an individual was perceived.

In 2008, many decades after he was assassinated for even dreaming of the end of racial segregation, his dream was realised when Barack Obama was sworn in as the first Black American President. The icing on top of the cake was the re-election of President Obama in November 2012.

Every good dream is possible, and can come true if only we do not stop believing and walking in our dream. Do not allow the obstacles you see to limit or stop you. The 'Giants' can be defeated ! Hold on tightly and face the giants squarely, as Caleb and Joshua did, and God shall grant you the victory.
