FAITH versus UNBELIEF

Spiritual things are opposed to the physical. In other words , what makes sense spiritually will likely not make sense physically. Just as in the parlance of languages, without knowledge of the meaning of words formed from sounds, any utterance in a specific language would sound gibberish, or could be interpreted wrongly.

There are two Kingdoms in the realm of the spirit- The Kingdom of God that speaks the language of faith and belief, and the Kingdom of darkness that speaks the language of fear and unbelief.

Choose to believe - Jesus died in your stead, that you may live on happily even after death. For it is appointed unto man to physically die and then be judged - either to everlasting bliss or doom.

The way to salvation or eternal bliss has been echoed in ages past - '' FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD THAT HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, THAT WHO SOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM SHOULD NOT PERISH, BUT HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE.'' JOHN 3:16

''FOR THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH, BUT THE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD.'' JOHN 6:23

''IF YOU CONFESS WITH YOUR MOUTH THE LORD JESUS AND BELIEVE IN YOUR HEART THAT GOD HAS RAISED HIM FROM THE DEAD, YOU SHALL BE SAVED.'' ROMANS 10: 9

''FOR THE MESSAGE OF THE CROSS IS FOOLISHNESS TO THOSE WHO ARE PERISHING, BUT TO US WHO ARE BEING SAVED IT IS THE POWER OF GOD.''
1 CORINTHIANS 1:18

Take note of the following story spoken by Jesus. We can deduce from this story that there is life after death. Kindly read it and let the last five verses minister to you. Do not hesitate to believe in Jesus, or you are likely to end like the Rich man.

Luke 16:19-31 (NIV)

The Rich Man and Lazarus

19 “There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. 20 At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores 21 and longing to eat what fell from the rich man’s table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores.

22 “The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham’s side. The rich man also died and was buried. 23 In Hades, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. 24 So he called to him, ‘Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in.

25 “But Abraham replied, ‘Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. 26 And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been set in place, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.’

27 “He answered, ‘Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my family, 28 for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.’

29 “Abraham replied, ‘They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.’

30 “‘No, father Abraham,’ he said, ‘but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.’

31 “He said to him, ‘If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.’”

No one may come from the dead to alert you, this may be your only chance to be saved.
CHOOSE FAITH, ESCHEW UNBELIEF! CHOOSE JESUS AND EMBRACE ETERNAL LIFE.
