THE PERFECT GOD - PART 3

God created man in His image. We are in the likeness of God but at the same time, we cannot be equated to God. Some robots are modelled after men, but cannot be described as men.

Secondly, God's time zone differs from ours. His language is also different from what we are used to. In the previous article, we established that we need humility and faith to know and understand God.

Little children are known for soaking up everything they are given on a sponge. They tend to be credulous. A lot about where we actually came from is shrouded in mystery to the ordinary man. We have all sorts of theories that attempt to explain where we evolved from. Death is also shrouded in mystery. We all embrace different views and beliefs about the existence or not of an afterlife.

God lives in a timezone called eternity. He knows the end from the beginning. Nothing surprises Him. He's got our manual and operating methods all figured out. He is well able to show us who we are, what we are for, and where we are going.

To understand God's language, we must be willing to meet with Him  and to speak the language of faith - Faith is believing in things not seen. We cannot see God, but God can be known by us only if we wish to step out in humility to meet with Him,  and to believe in Him and in His message to the world - the message of the CROSS; the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

I suppose many who have read the past two articles may have expected the unravelling of scriptures and revelatory knowledge. Sorry Sir/Madam, God is simple, His message to the world is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It is so simple that we often treat it with disdain. In the eyes of the world it is foolishness, but it is the saving grace of God for mankind. It is God's manual for your yesterdays, today and tomorrows.

Does this still sound gibberish to you? Please kindly refer to the previous article and it probably would answer why. Are you willing to know more? Then possibly you are just curious or you could simply be craving for truth, and may be ready to be told that for God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son that whomsoever believes in him, will not perish but have everlasting life.
